Remedy Exchange- Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)

Mental Health First Aid Training introduces participants to risk factors and warning signs of mental illnesses and increase understanding to reduce stigma associated with mental illness. This interactive training is a part of a nationwide effort, to help build individual’s skills to learn how to offer initial help in a mental health crisis and connect persons to the appropriate care through a five-step action plan. Eight hour trainings are available that focus on adult interventions or youth interventions and other special populations. Remedy Exchange offers both the Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid trainings to schools, churches and other community-based programs.
