Organization Name
Genesee Health System provides services and support to Genesee County residents who are adults and children with developmental disabilities, adults with mental illness, children with emotional disturbances, and adults and children with substance use disorders, with a focus on the health of the whole person.
Program Description
A mobile crisis team is available to help you and your child at your home during a mental health crisis, 7 days a week from 8 AM-7 PM. The team will provide an on-site intervention with the child or youth, utilizing de-escalation techniques, helping the child/youth and their family or support system to help with what is needed, and to help determine the next steps and long-term care.
