Organization Name

Child Care Network is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the success of children, families, and our community through quality child care education, advocacy, and family support.  We serve the Michigan community by helping families find child care, helping families pay for child care, and helping early learning professionals provide quality child care.  We serve children, families, and child care providers in the Michigan counties of Branch, Genesee, Hillsdale, Jackson, Lenawee, Livingston, Monroe, and Washtenaw.

Program Description

Child Care Network has three main programs: The Family Support Program, the Great Start to Quality Southeast Resource Center, and Community Programs. The Family Support Program helps low to moderate income families and families experiencing homelessness or a life crisis to get access to quality child care through child care scholarships in order to maintain employment status or reach higher education goals. The Great Start to Quality Resource Center provides access to resources that help improve quality. Early childhood educators of all types are able to access a resource lending library, attend professional development training, and receive onsite consultation. Community Programs works in strong partnerships with other agencies to bring awareness, training, development, and support to child care programs, families, and stakeholders, expanding our reach to serve our communities.
