Grandma’s House is focused on women’s specialty and family services, offering individual, group, and family counseling as well as recovery coaching services for those who are pregnant and/or parenting while recovering from substance use disorders. Grandma’s House also works with prevention programming for families to encourage development of protective factors to help break and prevent the cycle of addiction.
We also provide coordination with the legal system through drug testing and progress evaluations, assistance in accessing housing that includes Rubicon Recovery Housing and long term community based services for pregnant and
post-partum women.
Grandma’s House was established in the fall of 2021 in order to continue the long-standing work that Flint Odyssey House has done in engaging family systems in order to prevent and break the cycle of addiction. Grandma’s House offers specialty supports for those pregnant and/or parenting while seeking outpatient treatment.
