Franklin Avenue Mission

We are a mission of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, located at 2210 N Franklin Avenue on Flint’s Eastside. Our goal is to provide Nutritional, Physical, and basic services to the underserved.

We provide meals from 3 pm to 5:30 pm every Tuesday and Thursday in the Franklin Avenue Diner. On Tuesdays, by appointment, we offer the Franklin Avenue Marketplace, which allows families within our Eastside boundaries to grocery shop for needed items. On Thursdays, the Franklin Ave medical clinic offers walk-in medical care to residents with or without insurance. The Franklin Avenue Clothes Closet provides clothing for all those in need. Once a month, residents can come for our monthly personals giveaway on the first Tuesday of each month. No appointment necessary. We also offer Sunday worship services at 2 pm, followed by a light lunch.
