Life Challenge Ministries
Life Challenge Ministries is a faith-based, residential recovery ministry in Flint serving men who are seeking freedom from substance use and the life circumstances that often accompany addiction. Through a structured residential program that integrates recovery support, spiritual formation, education, life skills, counseling, and community connection, Life Challenge works to help individuals build healthy, productive, and purpose-filled lives in recovery. We believe lasting change happens through strong relationships and a supportive community, and we are committed to partnering with organizations across Genesee County to promote prevention, recovery, healthy families, and stronger communities.
Life Challenge Ministries provides a comprehensive, structured residential substance use recovery program that integrates evidence-informed clinical services, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), recovery support, and faith-based programming. Each resident receives individualized care through an assigned licensed therapist and case manager, with treatment plans addressing substance use, mental health, behavioral health, and other barriers to sustained recovery. Residents participate in individual and group therapy, medication-assisted treatment when clinically appropriate, case management, weekly peer recovery meetings, structured educational and life-skills classes, and faith-based support and programming. This integrated approach provides a continuum of clinical, behavioral, social, and spiritual support designed to promote long-term recovery, improve functioning, strengthen protective factors, and support successful reintegration into the community.
