The Prescription Drug Workgroup aims to reduce Prescription Drug Abuse by youth in Genesee County by addressing availability and access and community norms favorable toward drug use. There are many initiatives this work group focuses on including promoting DEA Prescription Drug Take Back Day, conducting a prescription drug Community Readiness Survey, and increasing community collaboration and awareness of prescription drug misuse and abuse. The Prescription Drug Workgroup aims to reduce Prescription Drug Abuse by youth in Genesee County by addressing availability and access and community norms favorable toward drug use. There are many initiatives this work group focuses on including promoting DEA Prescription Drug Take Back Day, conducting a prescription drug Community Readiness Survey, and increasing community collaboration and awareness of prescription drug misuse and abuse.
